Le Velvet Club is the premier libertine discotheque in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region, located just 15 minutes from Lyon. Established in 2011, this non-conformist venue has become a reference for free-spirited nightlife, blending festive energy, sensual ambiance, and refined elegance. Whether you are an experienced couple, a curious newcomer, or a single woman, Le Velvet Club provides a welcoming and respectful environment where you can explore your desires.
In 2019, Le Velvet Club made history by winning a Lyon d'Or, the first libertine club to receive this prestigious award. This recognition reflects the club's commitment to excellence, modern facilities, and high-end service. The club is also nominated for the 2026 edition, continuing its legacy as a leader in the libertine scene.
Le Velvet Club offers a variety of themed evenings and experiences tailored to different preferences:
Spread over more than 1000 square meters, Le Velvet Club combines the energy of a modern nightclub with the intimacy of a high-end libertine club. The venue boasts two dance floors with different ambiances, two bars, two terraces, and multiple lounge areas. Dim lighting, carefully selected music, and elegant decor create a sophisticated and sensual atmosphere.
The club prides itself on its clean, refined environment where eroticism and sensuality blend seamlessly. A dedicated team ensures safety, discretion, and mutual respect among guests. The dress code emphasizes elegance: men are asked to avoid shorts, sportswear, and certain sneakers, while women should avoid trousers and sporty footwear.
Le Velvet Club is situated in Brignais, just a 15-minute drive from central Lyon. The club is easily accessible by car, with free parking available. For the summer Velvet Beach events, the location moves to Chazay-d'Azergues, approximately 20 minutes from Lyon, also with free parking. The club's proximity to Lyon makes it a convenient destination for both locals and visitors seeking a night out in a refined libertine setting.
