Anya is a Warsaw-born journalist now based in Berlin. She has reported on the regulated adult-entertainment sectors of Germany, Czechia, Poland, Hungary and the Nordics for seven years, covering everything from the Prostitutionsschutzgesetz reform to Prague's long history as a European nightlife capital. Her writing is grounded in venue visits, operator interviews and direct conversations with workers in the field. She is fluent in Polish, German, Russian and English.
